Where Functional Medicine Meets Nurse Coaching
What is Nurse Coaching?
Nurse Coaching is a rapidly growing field, with thousands of Nurse Coaches across the United States and it’s own Board accreditation. Nurse Coaching is a specialty of nursing that focuses on the holistic healthcare and putting the client back in control of their own health. Nurse coaching combines the skills that Registered Nurses have learned in the medical field with health coaching to help their clients make sustainable changes to their health and wellness. Nurse Coaches don’t give “orders,” instead they are partners and facilitators to help you, the client, reach your health goals while honoring the mind, body, spirit connection. Through self-exploration, education and creating an action plan together; the nurse coach walks by your side on the path to wellness.
Functional Medicine
We all have a story to share. At Practical Medicine we listen to your story. Your whole health picture and history give us clues into the root cause of any disease. Functional Medicine is a systematic, holistic approach to finding the root of health conditions. When we understand why something went wrong, we have the potential to reverse the disease process entirely. We also use Functional Medicine tests when necessary.
